Kelly Norton

Solicitor

Kelly joined BlackmanSpargo in March 2025, having graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Laws in October 2024.  Throughout her studies, Kelly balanced the demands of family life and academic commitment — a testament to her determination, work ethic, and resilience.  Her path to law has been shaped by both life experience and a genuine passion for helping people.

Coming from a farming family and raised on lifestyle blocks in Gore and later Rotorua, Kelly has a strong connection to rural life.  Since moving to Rotorua in 2001 with her family, she has developed deep roots in the community.

Before studying law, Kelly held administrative roles across several industries, including working with a local electrical company and a forestry management business — experience that has given her a practical grounded perspective on the challenges faced by clients.

Kelly, her husband, and their two boys enjoy the outdoors, including spending time on and around our local lakes, walking in the Redwoods, and taking part in the annual duck hunting season.

Kelly is excited to bring her energy, empathy, and legal knowledge to clients across the region.
